Which Mokka you have

Mokka (2012–2016) — the original, on GM underpinnings shared with the Astra J of the period.
Mokka X (2016–2019) — facelift, same basic car.
Mokka / Mokka-e (2021 on) — an entirely different car built on Stellantis architecture after the PSA takeover.

Two different cars, two different ranges

This is the one thing worth knowing about the Mokka. The pre-2019 car is a General Motors Vauxhall and uses the same numbered locking sequence as the Astra and Insignia of that era. The 2021-on car was designed after Vauxhall became part of Stellantis and shares its underpinnings with Peugeot and Citroën.

They are not the same range of patterns. A chart or a forum post that doesn't distinguish between them will send you to the wrong key, and "Vauxhall Mokka key" as a search term covers both cars indiscriminately. Tell us the year and the problem disappears.

Neighbouring numbers look identical

On the GM-era car especially, Vauxhall's numbered sequence is tight — adjacent codes differ by fractions of a millimetre. A key one step out will seat, feel like it's gripping, and round the nut the moment you put weight on the bar. That turns a £22.50 key into a £40–£85 removal job.
