When you'll hear back
We answer messages through the day, seven days a week, and most enquiries get a reply the same day. If you message late at night you'll usually have an answer by the following morning.
Before you message us about a key
You'll get an answer faster if the photo is usable. It takes about thirty seconds to get right:
- One wheel is enough — all four locking nuts are the same.
- If there's a plastic cap over the nut, prise it off. The pattern is underneath.
- Wipe the face clean first. Brake dust hides the splines completely.
- Shoot straight on rather than at an angle, in daylight, with no flash.
- Get within about 15cm and tap the screen to focus. Don't zoom or crop.
If you still have the old key, photograph the end of it as well, along with any number stamped on the collar. That usually settles it in one message.
