Which Fabia you have

Mk2 (2007–2014) — hatch and estate, including the vRS. Most are on steel wheels with full trims.
Mk3 (2014–2021) — the common one. SE L and Monte Carlo trims on alloys.
Mk4 (2021 on) — current range.

The Fabia uses locking wheel bolts rather than nuts.

Check under the wheel trim first

A large share of Fabias run steel wheels with a full plastic trim over them. If you're looking at the wheel and can't see any bolts at all, that's why — the trim has to come off, and the locking bolt is one of the four or five underneath, usually the one that looks slightly different.

On alloy-wheeled cars there'll be a small chrome-effect cap over the bolt head instead. The puller clip for it lives in the boot toolkit; if it's missing, long-nose pliers with cloth over the jaws will lift it without snapping it.

Small car, same shared range

The Fabia draws from the same overlapping VW group range as the Polo and the smaller Seats. Several numbers in it differ only in spline depth. A near-miss key on a small car costs exactly as much to put right as on a big one — £40–£60 at a garage for one bolt, and around £40 a wheel again if it's already been rounded.
