Which Discovery you have

Discovery 3 (2004–2009) — old enough that corrosion in the nut face is the main obstacle.
Discovery 4 (2009–2016) — the common one, and the one we're asked about most.
Discovery 5 (2017 on) — current, usually on 20" or 21" wheels.
Discovery Sport (2014 on) — a different car on a different platform, and a different range of patterns.

Corrosion is the real enemy here

More than any other car on this site, Discoverys get used on farm tracks, salted roads and green lanes, and the locking nut sits in a recess that traps everything the road throws at it. By the time anyone needs the key, the pattern is often packed solid with dried mud and salt.

Before you photograph it: pick the recess out with a small screwdriver, spray it with brake cleaner, and wipe it dry. It takes two minutes and it's the difference between us identifying it first time and asking you for a second picture. A photo of a mud-packed nut tells nobody anything.

Discovery Sport is not a Discovery

Worth stating plainly, because it catches people out. The Discovery Sport shares its platform with the Evoque, not with the Discovery 4 or 5. If you're searching "Discovery locking wheel nut key" and you drive a Sport, half the results you'll find are for the wrong car.
