Which Yaris you have

XP90 (2005–2011) — mostly on steel wheels with full trims.
XP130 (2011–2020) — the first widely sold Yaris Hybrid in the UK.
XP210 (2020 on) — current, plus the Yaris Cross.

Check under the trim first

A lot of Yarises run steel wheels with a full plastic wheel trim. If you're looking at the wheel and can't see any nuts, that's why — the trim comes off first, and the locking nut is the one of four or five underneath that looks different to the others.

On alloy-wheeled cars there's usually a small cap over the nut instead. Prise it off gently with a flat blade wrapped in cloth.

Toyota and Lexus share patterns

Toyota shares its locking range with Lexus, so the same codes turn up across both. That means we see these keys constantly and stock them deep — but it also means a picture found online labelled for one car may belong to the other, with a fractionally different pattern.

The photograph settles it. A near-miss key seats, feels like it's biting, and rounds the nut under load, and at that point a cheap fix becomes £40–£60 at a garage.
